About Us

Korie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with certifications in Communication and Mediation from the University of Colorado and a Master of Education degree with specialization in Special Education and with certification in Autism and Applied Behavior Analysis from Texas State University. She has over 15 years working in an educational setting and has been credentialed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since January 2011. She has provided Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for over 10 years starting as a behavior therapist in clinic, school and home-settings where she provided intensive early intervention as well as individualized and intensive treatment for school-age children and teenagers.

Additionally, Korie has years of experience working with young adults and adults on a variety of challenging behaviors and functional skills in a vocational setting,  group home, foster home and day habilitation setting. She is passionate about working collaboratively with families and teams of professionals taking an individualized approach to produce meaningful and significant behavioral outcomes in a kind, caring and professional manner. Korie is typically the BCBA who will help you get services started at Austin Behavior Associates and can help you with your questions.

Katy received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with Honors at the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Education in Special Education with an emphasis on Autism and Developmental Disabilities, also from the University of Texas at Austin. She has been credentialed as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since February of 2016 and is licensed to practice Applied Behavior Analysis in Texas. She has provided Applied Behavior Analysis therapy for over 6 years, starting as a behavior therapist in a clinic setting, where she worked primarily with preschool and school-aged children. Katy has transitioned into also working with adults in various settings for the past 2 years.

Katy prides herself on creativity — thinking outside of the box to meet individualized needs for her various clients. She enjoys keeping current on research published in the Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis in order to incorporate current and effective evidence-based practices with her clients.
